Certain areas of the Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Nature Park are more vulnerable than others. Special rules therefore apply, particularly on the use of the drones. 

Please comply with the relevant rules and regulations and adapt your behaviour accordingly. Thanks for respecting the mountain landscape and helping to preserve this beautiful corner of the natural world.

Legal restrictions

General (OSCA, as of 24.11.1994):

  • Operators must keep their drone within their line of sight and under control at all times.
  • Drones must not fly within 100m of groups of people.
  • Drones must not fly within 5 km of civilian/military airfield runways.

Protected areas and areas where drone use is subject to restrictions are shown on the adjacent map.

RecommEndations

When using a drone, PLEASE:

  • Choose wide open spaces where there is no visible bird or wildlife activity.
  • Do not fly the drone over or near wildlife and do not follow wild or farm animals.
  • Abort the flight immediately if the animal reacts (approach/attack).
  • Keep the drone at a safe distance from cliffs, hedges and reeds.
