Certain areas of the Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Nature Park are more vulnerable than others. Special rules therefore apply, particularly on aerial sports. 

Please respect these laws and recommendations by adapting your behaviour accordingly. In doing so, you help ensure that the mountains can be shared and that this beautiful environment is preserved.
 

Legal restrictions

General Flying at low altitudes in nature reserves is prohibited. Take-offs and landings are also prohibited in federal game reserves (cf. adjacent map).

La Pierreuse nature reserve: Take-offs are not permitted in La Pierreuse and from La Videmanette. Flying low over the nature reserve is also prohibited, except for members of local paragliding clubs and schools, but only from 15 July to 31 December, and on officially designated flight paths (cf. 2013 Convention).

RecommEndations

When practising aerial sports (paragliding, hang gliding, etc.), PLEASE:

  • When flying at low altitude, keep a safe distance from the animals below.
  • Keep a safe distance from cliff faces.
  • Use the designated take-off and landing sites.
  • Leave no trace: take your rubbish home.
