Getting to the Park
The Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut Park is easily accessible by public transport. The infrastructure efficiently serves the Park area, with hourly connections to the main villages.
These main public transport routes ensure comfortable access from urban centres: 1 hour 30 minutes from Geneva or Neuchâtel, 1 hour 15 minutes from Bern, and 45 minutes from Lausanne or Fribourg. On site, bus lines and cable transport systems complement the network.
Getting around the Park
By train or bus, journeys through the Park offer an opportunity to immerse oneself in the rich diversity of its landscapes – a truly unique experience. The main transport routes include the MOB GoldenPass Line, as well as the train and bus lines operated by Transports publics fribourgeois (TPF) and the bus lines of Transports publics du Chablais (TPC).
The public transport network is ideal for through excursions, offering attractive opportunities for exploration without the need to return to the starting point.

Extend the journey
Additional soft and sustainable mobility options extend the main public transport lines, offering greater freedom and flexibility to explore the Park area.
From 11 July to 23 August 2026, a daily bus line connects the village of Charmey to the Gros Mont car park, serving 13 stops along the route.
An excellent way to access the Vanil Noir Nature Reserve with peace of mind, as well as numerous through-hiking routes.
The PostBus line Saanen – Mittelberg – Abländschen – Jaun operates from 2 May, with four return journeys each weekend until 25 October 2026, including public holidays and bridge days. In July and August, as well as from 28 September to 25 October, the bus also runs daily at the same frequency.
Partnership with Alpine Bus
To implement and promote these lines, the Park works closely with Bus alpin. This association organises seasonal bus services in more than 20 mountain regions across Switzerland, in collaboration with local stakeholders, making destinations accessible that were previously only reachable by car.

The Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut Park offers a wide range of opportunities to explore the area by bike, whether on a mountain bike or an e-bike.
The region is crossed by numerous cycling routes mapped by SwitzerlandMobility.
Hiking is also an excellent way to discover the Park. Many signposted routes allow visitors to explore the area on foot. Combined with public transport, through-hikes offer an ideal way to experience the Park.

Alongside public transport and taxi services, the J’te Pouce® hitchhiking benches operate as voluntary pick-up points based on courtesy, mutual help and trust. A comfortable and modern way to hitchhike!
