By public transport, with complete peace of mind
By train or bus, the journeys offer a unique experience, immersing you in the beautiful diversity of the Park's landscapes! The infrastructure efficiently serves the Park's territory with hourly services to the main villages. The public transportation network is ideal for cross-country excursions: it provides attractive discovery opportunities without the need to return to your starting point.
The major routes in the network include the MOB GoldenPass line and the bus and train lines of the Fribourg Public Transport (TPF) and Chablais Public Transport (TPC). These routes ensure comfortable access from urban centers: 1.5 hours from Geneva or Neuchâtel, 1.25 hours from Bern, and 45 minutes from Lausanne or Fribourg. On-site, bus lines and cable transport complete the network.
A number of package deals cover all or part of the Park. They make it easier to get around the Park at competitive prices:
Regional Pass Léman-Alpes : www.mob.ch
Montreux Riviera Card : www.montreuxriviera.com
Passeport La Gruyère : www.fribourgregion.ch
Other services have been added to regular demand, such as the Alpine Bus (on-demand Charmey - Gros Mont link and the Car Postal Saanen - Jaun link) and the car sharing service offered by Mobility in Château-d'Œx.
bus alpin charmey – la valsainte
From 14 December 2025 to 15 March 2026, the Charmey–La Valsainte line switches to the winter timetable, offering three pairs of journeys on weekends and public holidays.
Partnership with Bus alpin
To set up and promote these routes, the Park works closely with Bus alpin. This association organizes seasonal bus services in more than 20 mountain regions across Switzerland, in cooperation with local stakeholders, to make destinations accessible that were previously only reachable by car.
Cycling in the Park
The Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut Regional Nature Park offers a wide range of opportunities to explore the area by bike, mountain bike or e-bike.
The region is crossed by numerous cycling routes featured on SwitzerlandMobility
