Discover a region shaped by nature and tradition

With nearly 1300 km of Suisse Rando-marked trails, the Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Nature Park is a year-round paradise for casual and seasoned hikers. It is also home to many working Alpine farms which dot the varied landscape of mountain pastures, forests and tradition-steeped villages.

The Park has chosen to highlight several hiking trails that showcase the region's natural and cultural heritage, All are readily accessible by public transport and allow visitors to explore the Park's unspoilt landscape without disturbing the wildlife and their habitats.

Our suggestions cover the four regions within the Park. All are one-day hikes and can be adapted according to your fitness level, ability and preferred pace. They also offer a mix of terrain – from valleys to mountain passes right through to high-altitude routes – which means that from March to November, you will always find a hike to suit the season.
