the cheese trails, hikes accessible to all walkers
The cheese trails are divided into 21 stages, each lasting between one and four hours. The routes are just as accessible to experienced walkers as they are to families with young children or occasional hikers.
The cheese trails take in the valley bottoms, the villages and their surroundings. These paths pass many important heritage features. There are also a number of producers and producers of local produce along the way. All these heritage and local features are listed on a free smartphone application.

a practical and intelligent application
Innovate and explore the cheese trails with a mobile application to discover the Park's heritage. Take a close look at the area and solve the riddles.
The application offers a number of advantages. As well as all the information you need to make your walk a success (map, description of stages, walking time, etc.), it's fully geolocated and keeps you informed about your immediate surroundings. It features innovations such as augmented reality and intelligent recommendations of points of interest.
The application includes more than 250 detailed and illustrated points of interest. Museums, exceptional monuments and cheese-making sites are just a few examples. A photo and video bank and a diary of the Park's attractions complete the information. In addition, a menu on living traditions invites you to discover the skills and crafts of our regions.
The Cheese Quest: a game that invites you to learn more about the Park's history and traditions. Some of the missions on offer include understanding why the mountain pastures were de-stalked, taking photos of yourself in action or finding a mysterious open-air chapel.
An application in French, German and English
The application is available in three languages: French / German / English. It automatically detects the language used on your phone and adapts to it. So there's no need to make any adjustments. If your phone is configured for another language, English is displayed by default.
Points of interest notified
The application lets you discover the cultural and natural riches of the Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Nature Park and learn all the secrets about the living traditions celebrated in the area. It also provides information on accommodation, restaurants and good deals on local produce.
