From 3 January to 22 March 2026, one daily service will operate every weekend (except on 24 and 25 January and on 31 January and 1 February) through the Intyamon and the Pays-d’Enhaut. This new Train des Neiges is the result of a collaboration between Transports publics Fribourgeois (TPF) and the Montreux Oberland Bernois Railway (MOB). The train will depart from Palézieux at 8:09 a.m. (8:50 a.m. from Bulle), with a return journey from Gstaad at 4:57 p.m. (5:05 p.m. from Rougemont and 5:16 p.m. from Château-d’Œx). No reservation is required. Travel is possible with a valid ticket at the standard fare. Discounted tickets offering up to 30% off will be available from 7 January via the SBB app.
For Magic Pass holders, the Magic Travel offer will also provide a 30% discount on a journey, either one-way or a same-day return, from 9 January to 15 March. The promotional code can be obtained directly via the Magic Pass customer account.
This new public transport offer within the Park makes leisure travel easier while reducing its environmental impact. As a reminder, leisure travel alone accounts for 41% of all journeys and is therefore the main source of greenhouse gas emissions related to mobility.
