CHÂTEAU-D'ŒX-L'ETIVAZ 

From Château-d’Œx, walk down the path that runs along the left side of the colline du temple until you reach the main road. Cross this road and continue to walk downhill as far as the Sarine river. Here, cross the Pont Turrian (suspension bridge) and take the path that forks left. Continue to walk along the left bank of the Sarine until you reach the road. Turn left and walk a further 500 metres. Turn right twice before starting your ascent along the along the banks of the Gérignoz river. After 2.5 km, take the path on the right and walk uphill towards La Case. Before the Col de Base, turn left and walk along the path leading to la Douve. Finally, continue down the winding road until you reach L’Etivaz.
