Château-d’Œx – La Frasse – Pont de Pierre – Les Moulins

From the village center, the route follows the train tracks then climbs along Mérils stream. At la Frasse, the route descends toward the Sarine through prairies and pastures. Once at the river bank, meet up with the section of the route that goes from the Moulins to Rossinière, and follow the river down the valley. Cross the Pont de Pierre (bridge) to the left bank of the river and wind through prairies and pastures to Les Moulins village.



Espace Ballon 

The hot air balloon museum enables you to experience the magic of ballooning in all its different aspects. From Icarus to Piccard, let yourself be wafted away and follow the history of lighter than air travel. Château-d'Œx has become the world alpine capital of hot air ballooning. The astonishing universe of ballooning will no longer hold any secrets.


Organic Cheese Shop Les Moulins

Here is a list of orgnic products available at the shop : Gruyère AOP, Mont-Chevreuil, raclette, fondue mixes, tommes du patron (the boss’s tomme cheeses), P’tit Moulin, double cream, 35% cream, butter, salted butter, serac when in season.

Opening time : 8:00-11:15 ; 16:30-19:00
Closed: Thursday morning and Sunday morning
