The trail crosses the Torrent des Riz before continuing underneath the majestic Dent de Corjon. It eventually passes two mountain farms: first, the Dent de Corjon and then Les Châtelards. From here, it is a short walk down to Pierra Derrey, then Pierra Devant. The path crosses the L’Hongrin river and another short walk leads to the Auberge de la Croix de Fer in Allières.
