Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut Regional Nature Park. Nestled in the foothills of the Swiss Alps, the region has a strong identity, shaped by a flourishing alpine economy, landscapes of outstanding beauty, unspoilt nature and a rich diversity of endemic plants and animals.

Welcome to the website of the Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Nature Park.

Selected pages are available in English (see links below).

Most of the in-park activities and pursuits require a working knowledge of French. However, in some instances, the guides can speak English. See below for a list of the activities concerned.

In addition, many chalets d’alpage (traditional mountain farmhouses) are open to the public and visitors can watch cheese being made. For more information, see the Info Point in Etivaz and/the website. The tourist office in Rougemont also has an info point, which contains details of 15 of the region’s most important and fascinating religious heritage sites.
